286 Numl students graduate – Newspaper

ISLAMABAD: No less than 286 students received diplomas as well as 23 gold medals in various disciplines during the 19th convocation of the National University of Modern Languages ​​(Numl) on Saturday.

At the convocation held at Numl, Deputy Senate Speaker Mirza Mohammad Afridi was the main guest. Rector General Mohammad Jaffar, Pro-Rectors, Deans, Registrar, Principals, Heads of Departments and a large number of students and their parents attended the convocation.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Afridi congratulated the students, parents and teachers for the successful completion of diplomas in various disciplines.

He stressed the importance of time and knowledge and said that students are the future asset of Pakistan and they should play their part for the progress and prosperity of the motherland.

He said all graduates need to realize how lucky they were to be educated in an institution like Numl and appreciated that their parents chose the best possible institution for them.

Earlier, the rector of the university highlighted the achievements and contributions made by Numl in various fields of education. He said Numl has more than 300 PhD professors and the number keeps growing.

He highlighted the social awareness programs and student support program where more than 1,900 students have been awarded various scholarships worth Rs 112 million in the past year. He hopes Numl graduates will serve the nation to their fullest capacity and change the country and society for the better.

Teaching and Learning Awards

The Millennium Institute of Professional Development (MIPD) and the Department of International Qualifications, Curriculum and Assessments of the Millennium Education Group hosted an Excellence in Teaching and Learning Awards ceremony.

Speaking on this occasion, the chief guest, Professor Quintin McKellar, underlined the multifaceted responsibility of teachers in an age of interconnected dimensions and underlined that flexibility, opportunity and community were the basic elements of the excellence in education.

Dr. Faisal Mushtaq, Founder and CEO of Millennium Education Group, congratulated the winners and celebrated their efforts to achieve outstanding results in their disciplines, which reflects their commitment to an ongoing, clearly articulated and shared process of continuous improvement.
