Animoca Brands and PMG Bring Chess to the Metaverse

Animoca Brands will bring Play Magnus Group’s Meltwater Champions Chess Tour to the Metaverse. PMG will create Champions Chess Tour experiences in The Sandbox, a leading virtual environment for decentralized games, and another subsidiary of Animoca Brands.

Lympo will manufacture and distribute a Champions Chess Tour NFT collection in five years. Anish Giri, Magnus Carlsen, and Hans Niemann will be included in Lympo’s animated NFT collections.

Lympo will build unique NFT digital trading cards for every skilled professional chess player. They will be included in the current Lympo ecosystem and the cards will also be used in future Lympo games.

The ecosystem will also create the Champions Chess Tour social tokens, allowing enthusiasts to interact with participants. Holders of Champions Chess Tour NFT can purchase the tokens and use them for voting, lottery, quizzes and polls.
