Prime Minister calls on voters to enthusiastically participate in the ballot

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on voters to vote in the first phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Polling is underway in 58 Uttar Pradesh Assembly constituencies in the first phase.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted: “Today is the first phase of the polls in Uttar Pradesh. I call on all brothers and sisters in this phase to vote in maximum number to elect a government that will bring you security, respect and good governance as well as state development.Your vote alone will be the foundation for the bright future of Uttar Pradesh.

BJP leader JP Nadda said: “The great people of Uttar Pradesh have seen UP become Uttam Pradesh. Here, the government of good governance has witnessed the strengthening of the administrative system. Today you have a golden opportunity to maintain the progress, prosperity and prosperity of the state. I ask you all to exercise your right to vote.

Polling is underway in 58 seats across 11 districts in western Uttar Pradesh.

The Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls will be held in seven phases in February-March starting February 10. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. In the first phase, polling is scheduled in 58 of the 403 members of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly.
