Public opinion solicited on increased cannabis regulation – Macomb Daily

Michigan’s cannabis regulatory agency is considering changes to marijuana packaging rules and is seeking public input.

A public meeting is scheduled for June 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m., where members of the public can comment on whether marijuana flower intended for sale by licensed retailers should be packaged by processors before shipping. The change would make it illegal to sell flowers in bulk in large containers, a regulation already enacted in some other states.

The meeting will also provide an opportunity to air complaints and comment on the CRA’s administration of powers, powers, duties, functions, and responsibilities under state marijuana laws.
