Sarah Dudley-Lemek of New Paltz is Ulster BOCES’ new Director of Educational Services.
Dudley-Lemek, who took up his new post on March 1, comes to Ulster BOCES from the Highland Central School District. She worked for Highland for 24 years, most recently as Assistant Superintendent.
Prior to becoming an assistant superintendent at Highland, she was an assistant principal at Highland High School, a social studies teacher, and chair of the social studies department.
Dudley-Lemek’s educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching, Social Studies, from SUNY New Paltz. She also holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in School Construction Leadership/School District Leadership.
In her spare time, Dudley-Lemek enjoys gardening, traveling and reading, especially history books. She has two daughters, both of whom are now in college.

The Greene County Bank has announced two promotions.
Betsy Braley has been promoted to regional branch manager for Columbia County branches at Bank of Greene County.
In addition to his responsibilities at the Chatham branch, Braley will oversee the Hudson, Greenport, Germantown, Copake and Kinderhook-Valatie branches.
Braley joined the Bank of Greene County branch team in 2018 and has served the local community for over 25 years. Braley is a graduate of Chatham High School and holds an Associate of Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology and an Associate of Science, General Banking, from the American Institute of Banking. She is very involved in the Columbia County community, serving on the board of directors of the Louis F. Payn Foundation and as fair director of the Columbia County Agricultural Society (Chatham Fair). Braley lives in Chatham.
Kristen Schiffer has been promoted to Branch Manager of Greenport/Hudson Branches. Schiffer joined the Bank team in 2019 as Kinderhook-Valatie Branch Manager and has been instrumental in the growth and success of this office. Schiffer has over 15 years of banking experience, is a member of Tri-Village Rotary and lives in Chatham.
